Meet the Founder
Mr. Vijay Singh Panwar
Founder of The Khair Project
Mr. Vijay Singh Panwar is a young, dynamic, and visionary entrepreneur whose work reflects deep commitment, purpose, and emotional connection to his roots. As the founder of The Khair Project, he represents a rare blend of modern leadership and traditional values, driven by a mission to create meaningful change in Uttarakhand.
With over 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Panwar has demonstrated unwavering dedication and integrity across every project he has undertaken. His journey is marked by hard work, consistency, and a clear vision—not just for business success, but for social impact. His experience has shaped him into a leader who understands both the practical and emotional aspects of development.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Panwar is also a passionate social worker. He is actively working toward addressing one of Uttarakhand's most pressing issues—migration. For decades, people from the region have moved to urban cities in search of better employment, education, and healthcare.
Mr. Panwar envisions reversing this trend by creating opportunities within Uttarakhand itself. His efforts are focused on generating local employment, improving access to essential services, and building a self-sustaining ecosystem that allows families to thrive without leaving their homeland.
At the heart of his journey lies a deeply personal story. The Khair Project is not just a development initiative—it is the realization of his father's dream. Mr. Panwar's father migrated to Delhi from Uttarakhand at a very young age. Through sheer determination and hard work, he secured a government job and raised his four children in Delhi.
Despite building a stable life in the city, his heart always remained in his native village. He often expressed his desire to return to his homeland after retirement and spend his later years there.
Unfortunately, life had other plans. Mr. Panwar's father suffered from kidney failure and had to undergo dialysis twice a week. Due to the lack of adequate healthcare facilities in his village, he was unable to fulfill his dream of returning home. After years of illness, he passed away, leaving behind an unfulfilled aspiration.
Deeply moved by his father's story, Mr. Vijay Singh Panwar took it upon himself to turn that dream into reality—not just for his family, but for countless others facing similar challenges. He chose to settle in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, and began working toward building opportunities in the region.
Through The Khair Project, he aims to ensure that no one is forced to leave their home in search of basic necessities. The Khair Project is built on his father's ancestral land—the very place where his father spent his childhood and envisioned his retirement.
Today, it stands as a symbol of legacy, resilience, and hope. Mr. Vijay Singh Panwar's journey is not just about development—it is about honoring roots, preserving culture, and creating a future where Uttarakhand thrives while staying true to its identity.
